Nominate your choice for the People’s Award and Accredited Club of the Year NOW!
There are just a few days left to nominate a local football hero for a 2013 McDonald’s IFA Community Award. Nominations for the People’s Award, Accredited Cub of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Coach of the Year will close on Friday 7th June so submit your nomination now at www.irishfa.com/communityawards
The People’s Award, now in its second year, seeks to reward an unsung hero of community football – be it a life-long coach, someone who has washed the kits for generations, the local team bus driver who gives up their spare time to help transport players to and from games or any other committed club person who deserves some special praise.
Nominees for the People’s Award will be shortlisted after the deadline closes this week and the public will decide on who wins the award.
The Accredited Club of the Year Award is aimed at clubs across Northern Ireland that have achieved accredited status. If your local club has gone the extra mile for young players, then don’t miss the chance to nominate them before the deadline closes on Friday.
The People’s Award and Accredited Club of the Year Award are just two of the awards open for nominations now. McDonald’s and the IFA are also seeking nominations for:
• Outstanding Contribution
• Volunteer of the Year
• Young Volunteer of the Year
• Coach of the Year
• Female Coach of the Year
• Disability Football Coach of the Year
Nominations for the People’s Award, Accredited Club of the Year, Coach of the Year and Volunteer of the Year close on Friday 7th June. Nominations for the other awards remain open.
